Tools for "Reaching Out"
Just wanted to start a new topic to see what others are using to "reach out".
By no means a precision rifle, I enjoy it immensely.
This rifle is fun to shoot, light on recoil and groups pretty well.
To date, my best with this rifle is a 0.75", 3-shot group @ 175yards. (I stopped at 3 shots cause I just knew my 4th would spoil the group)
The only real changes I have made are adding a "SET" Trigger (trigger breaks at 2.25lbs.) and a MSG90 Stock with a 2-Stage Buffer.
My "HK" Date Code (1979) HK91 Rifle chambered for "Kal .308" (that is the way it's roll-marked, silly Germans)

How well it'll shoot at 1000 yards I don't really know. But I sure wouldn't want anyone shooting at me with it.

. . oh, just a plain old Savage/Stevens 30-06.

Extremely nice HK. I'm drooling and jealous.

Re: Tools for "Reaching Out"
Thanks guys.
I picked the HK91 because its so easy to change out the stock and scope without changing the zero.
This photo shows the "SET" position on the trigger box.
It takes less than a minute to change it from a medium range battle rifle to something a little more portable.
